The scientific seminar titled “Students Joining Hands to Respond to Climate Change” took place on the afternoon of September 25, 2021.
Yesterday, I had the great honor of being invited by Ha Long University and Bach Dang High School (Quang Ninh) to participate and serve as a co-chair at this seminar, which was conducted entirely in English. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the online event attracted a large number of students, experts, and researchers from both Vietnam and abroad. I was truly excited to take part and gained valuable knowledge and insights from distinguished experts, lecturers, and researchers. I also felt very fortunate to be selected as a co-chair alongside Nguyen Hoang Khanh, contributing to the smooth organization of the seminar. I have long admired participants of the “Road to Mount Olympia” competition, and learning that Khanh had successfully advanced through the weekly, monthly, and quarterly rounds and was preparing for the final round made me admire him even more.

Through this experience, I deeply understood the importance of the philosophy:
“Education empowers us to speak up for our perspectives and fulfill our responsibilities to society and our country.”
Witnessing the depth of knowledge shared by both local and international researchers—who guided us on scientific research methods, critical thinking, and practical solutions to mitigate climate change—left a lasting impression on me.

I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to the Board of Management of Ha Long University, the leadership of Bach Dang High School, and Nguyen Hoang Khanh for their trust and support. I look forward to the day when the pandemic is over, so I can meet and connect in person with students and peers in Quang Ninh and Tuyen Quang.

i want to say "the first time will always make many mistakes, hopefully in the future I will have more experience to improve myself !!!"
Mai Do,
